Turn On Your Utilities
Unless your lease indicates otherwise, it's your responsibility to turn on utilities. Don't know who your utility providers are? Use InMyArea.com to find out!
Prepare Your Lawn and Pool Service
If you're renting a single-family home, you're probably responsible for your own lawn and pool service. Set up these providers today so you're ready for move-in.
Log Into Your Tenant Portal
Your Tenant Portal is where you do lots of cool stuff, like Pay your rent, Log maintenance requests, Access your lease documents or Chat with us.
Take your Move-In Photos and Open Your Inspection Album
You'll want to take a nice photo album of move-in photos and save them to compare to your photos when you move out. This is one way that you protect your security deposit. We'll also want you to submit inspection photos to us once per quarter so we can verify that you're taking great care of our homes.
Air Filters, Breaker Box and Water Shut-Off
Be sure to locate your Air Filter - you're responsible for changing it once per quarter. Find your breaker box - sometimes breakers trip and you'll need to reset them. And locate your water-main shut-off valve - you'll need it in a water emergency.
